King Tide Rentals, LLC — Terms and Conditions

Welcome to King Tide Rentals, LLC, proudly serving Holden Beach, North Carolina. By reserving or using any of our rental items — including cabanas, chairs, and grills — you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before completing your rental.

• All rentals are provided by King Tide Rentals, LLC (“the Company”).
• Rentals are available exclusively within the Town of Holden Beach, NC.
• The renter (“Customer”) must be at least 18 years of age and assume full responsibility for any items rented under their reservation.

• Rental Options: Daily and weekly cabana rentals are available.
• Setup and Removal: Cabanas are set up by 9:00 AM and pickup begins at 5:00 PM daily.
• Town Regulations: Per the Town of Holden Beach ordinance, cabanas and chairs cannot be left on the strand overnight. Failure to comply may result in confiscation or fines from the Town, for which the Company is not responsible.
• Weather Policy: Setup may be delayed, removed early, or canceled due to inclement weather (high winds, lightning, heavy rain, or other unsafe conditions). In such cases, monetary adjustments may be considered at the discretion of King Tide Rentals, LLC.

• Delivery and Pickup: Chairs are delivered on the day of check-in and picked up on the day of check-out.
• Chairs must remain in the vicinity of the rental property or area for which they were delivered.
• Do not leave chairs on the beach overnight, per Town regulations.

• Delivery and Pickup: Grills are delivered on the day of check-in and picked up on the day of check-out.
• Fuel Policy: Propane is supplied for propane grills. Customers must provide their own charcoal if renting a charcoal grill.
• Cleanliness: All grills must be returned in clean condition. Cleaning brushes are provided. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the grill is returned excessively dirty.
• Safety Requirements: 
  • Grills must not be used within 20 feet of any structure.
  • Grills must not be used under or beneath any property, deck, or structure.
  • Grills must never be left unattended while in use.

Failure to comply with safety regulations may result in immediate termination of the rental and loss of all payments.

• All cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to scheduled delivery/setup time.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start time will result in forfeiture of all monies paid.
• If weather prevents setup or rental use, King Tide Rentals, LLC may, at its sole discretion, offer a partial refund or credit toward a future rental.

• Customers are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of rental equipment during their rental period.
• If any rental item is damaged, lost, or destroyed, the Customer will be charged the full replacement cost of the item(s).
• King Tide Rentals, LLC is not responsible for: 
  • Injuries, accidents, or property damage resulting from the use or misuse of our rental items.
  • Delays or cancellations caused by weather, beach conditions, or town restrictions.
• Customers assume all risk and liability for the safe use of cabanas, chairs, and grills.

• Rentals may be suspended or removed in the event of: 
  • High winds or lightning
  • Rip current warnings or rough ocean conditions
  • Orders or restrictions issued by the Town of Holden Beach
• Safety is our top priority — refunds or credits may be issued at the sole discretion of King Tide Rentals, LLC depending on the circumstances.

By completing your rental reservation, you acknowledge and agree:

• You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
• You agree to follow all use and safety guidelines.
• You accept full responsibility for the equipment during the rental period.
• You authorize King Tide Rentals, LLC to charge your credit card on file for any damages, losses, or cleaning fees as applicable.
